Narcissism And Boundaries

Most narcissists don’t realize they are narcissists. And a lot of people don’t always know they are dealing with narcissists. I attracted a lot of narcissism in my life with friends and relationships. I didn’t understand how people could treat me and others so manipulatively and poorly until I woke up and understood what narcissism and having insecurities can really do to a person. It took me a long time to not let these kinds of people hurt me or take their hurtful behaviors so personally. When I owned my part and learned my lesson in these situations, I found my clarity and I was able to speak up for myself and the injustices that had happened, which felt great. I didn’t need to feel heartbroken, because these people are broken. When these narcissists responded in a negative way, I knew I had my answer. I don’t want people like this in my life. This is when I was able to start attracting loving and respectful relationships, that when there is something to discuss it’s in an understanding and in a cooperative way, where both of us own our parts and create an outcome we want. Narcissists won’t own their part; it will always be your fault. That’s good news because then you have your answer with what you are dealing with.
